The exhibition began its tour at the Opening Ceremony of SEIMUN (South European International Model of United Nations) in Granada, organized by UNSA Andalucía, part of the UNSA Spain Network.
This exhibition will continue its route through a Congress at the European Parliament in Brussels, and an exhibition at the Press Club in Brussels and continuing in other places of Europe and the World. Other International Institutions and events are being valorate in these moments for hosting the exhibition.
"CONNECTING CULTURES" Openning Ceremony The South European International Model of United Nations (SEIMUN) is a United Nations countries all over the world, who decide to spend simulation.
It is an international encounter of students from a few days representing a given State at a council assuming the roles of Diplomats, Ambassadors and the Heads of States and discussing about important issues in International Relations. As a Model United Nations, SEIMUN has particular characteristics: it is a regional integrating project that is managed by youth; it is a meeting point between youngsters, institutions and private entities. It promotes a civil transformation of our society contributing tolerance, participation, and critical thinking. It is the unique rotating UN simulation in Europe and it is the only one in Spain that simulates the UN, the EU and the International Court of Justice.
PRESS CLUB, Brussels
The Press Club Brussels Europe is a joint initiative of the Brussels-Capital Region and the associations of international journalists based in Brussels. It opened its doors in December 2010 with the aim of providing a forum for conferences and debates with and among members of the media. Since its opening, over 1500 events have been organized in the club (totaling more than 50.000
visitors), of which many were initiatives of embassies and permanent representations to the EU.
Also the world of trade and industry with headquarters in Brussels; associations and NGOs; lobby groups and think tanks have
found their way to our club. The Press Club Brussels Europe has been elected to head the annual presidency of the European Federation of PressClubs from April 2013 till April 2014 and is an active member of the International Association of Press Clubs.
