Ulises Rodriguez (Colombia, 1962)
Traveling The Inner Space.
Life develops in profounds and complex tissues linked in microscopic and indescribables landscapes, beautiful shapes to which we rarely have access or that at the end, we unconsciously ignore.
The process of these transformations finally evolves into something tangible and irreverently we succumb. That mysterious beginning give base to my work, in which I want to magnify a lapse of that trip as an organic representation of something that transcends and of which unavoidably, we are part..
A multidisciplinary artist whose work constantly integrates both hard and organic mediums that reflect his inner vision
and fascination of the beginning stages of life. His career started in The Arts and Letters School in Bogota, Colombia. Later he attended a liberal arts college in the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, Spain where he developed a big part of his research and art workshops. At the end of the 90s, he moved to Boston in the United States of America where he continues to work as an artist, develop
his skills, and teach art in Boston Public Schools. Selected in the National Mariano Benlliure prize, 1993-94. Madrid, Spain.
