Cleusa Rossetto (Brazil, 1955)
As the time passes man is surrounded by connections and their ends are no longer exclusive. Never has everything seemed to be so close, we know in “real time” of events that can affect in many ways different peoples. The fields of meaning and the form of absorption of these events, by diverse cultures, allow a mixture of knowledge. It creates a citizen network of solidarity and cultural exchange, thus emerging the desire to break barriers and the human being thus becomes a citizen of the world.
Her professional training in both civil engineering technology and architecture allowed her to act on a twofold way: rational
and emotional. Her academic and scientific research background at home and abroad, has led her to get acquainted with many mathematical computing resources related to graphics expression.
Although she paints, since she was fifteen, in 2005 she decided to start a new artistic career applying her expertise in using computation for graphics to create complex pictures to innovate artistic and visual languages. Since 2009 she has been curator of the annual exhibitions of Technology and Art Cultural Space of FATEC-SP.
She has participated in more than seventy exhibitions, both national and international, being awarded several prizes. In 2011 she was co-founded and also responsible for the edition and publication of “FEMMES&ART” (nos. 1, 2 and 3). (Hosted in ISSUU).
She is a member of the “MAV” – Women in the Visual Arts and the pro Art and Culture Group in Spain, and associated to “AUTVIS” – Brazilian Association of Visual Authors Rights.
